The engagement
What happens, in order.
No packages, no minimum terms, no diagnostic fee. The first visit is unpaid because we do not yet know whether we can help.

01 / Consultation — no charge
Ninety minutes, at your table
We bring nothing but paper. The student brings the last two years of work. We watch them do mathematics rather than talk about it — the errors are in the hand, not in the explanation.

02 / Assessment — within a week
A written finding
Two to three pages. It names the earliest topic that is genuinely insecure, shows the evidence from their own work, and proposes a sequence. If the answer is that they do not need a tutor, it says so.

03 / The work — weekly
One hour, one student
Same day, same chair, same tutor. Cancel any week. The assessment is reviewed every six weeks and rewritten when the evidence has moved.
What we will not do
We will not promise a grade.
No tutor can, and any who does is selling something they do not control. A grade depends on the teacher, the syllabus, the paper, the day and the student. What we can promise is that the gap gets named honestly, the sequence gets built properly, and you will be told plainly if we are not the right help.
We do not do homework. We do not sit exams. We do not take a student whose difficulty is not mathematical — if what is in the way is anxiety, attention, or something at home, we will say so and step back.

Rates are set at the consultation against the actual work, not from a price list written before we met the student.
The first visit costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
That is not a promotion. It is that we do not think anyone should pay to be told what is wrong before they have decided to fix it.
